The Club

Founded in 1922

Ashburn Golf Club has long been a central part of golf in Nova Scotia and Atlantic Canada. Ashburn is a golf-focused private club, providing members with the opportunity to play frequently, improve their game, and enjoy the company of fellow golf enthusiasts. Ashburn is guided by a Board of Directors whose decisions are focused on maintaining course quality, enhancing the member experience, and preserving the traditions of the Club. This ensures that every aspect of the Club—from the course conditions to programming—reflects the standards members expect.

THE OLD COURSE

EST. 1922 The Old Course is a Stanley Thompson design located minutes from downtown Halifax. Walkable, strategic, and timeless, the Old Course rewards thoughtful shot-making and remains central to daily member rounds. 

THE NEW COURSE

EST. 1970 The New Course, set alongside Kinsac Lake in Fall River, offers a modern championship layout that challenges skill while remaining enjoyable and fair. Its scale has hosted national competition while remaining fully accessible to members.
